Moving out of state for a new job

Last summer, I decided to move across the country for a new job.

My best friend Dale was already working the cannabis grow farm, and he offered to get me a job. I was hesitant in the beginning, I didn’t know what to expect. I grew up in a very small town, with one red light, one school, and a single grocery store. No one talked about marijuana or cannabis, and if they did, it was usually something negative. I didn’t even know it was legal to farm marijuana, until my best friend Dale took a job at the pot farm. Dale has been there for the last year, and he absolutely loves the job. Most of the time, he works in the grow house. Dale spends 8 hours every day just monitoring the soil nutrient levels. It seems like a difficult job for someone with no college education, but Dale told me that job is fun and easy. I decided to give it a try. I moved out to the west coast a few weeks ago, and I started working on the marijuana grow farm. Right now, I am learning all about containers, water softeners and ventilation systems. After that, I’ll be able to run an entire grow room on my own. I’m really thankful that Dale got me this awesome opportunity, and I want to make him proud. My parents weren’t too happy with me when I moved, but they don’t understand all of the medical benefits that marijuana can offer. They look at marijuana the same as oxycontin, LSD, mushrooms, and psychotics.
