It is very important to cure your buds after harvest

Did you know that well cured buds can last up to 2 years without losing much potency? This is why it’s so important to cure your buds, to increase potency and allow the buds to last for a long time.

  • If you plan on storing your buds, this is certainly a great way to do it.

Also after your buds are cured and dried, it is actually safe to freeze your buds if you want to keep them for long term storage. You can keep your buds frozen for a few years without any problems. When you are ready to get your buds, you just let them sit out to thaw out. Just make sure you don’t dip into the containers when they are thawing because the trichomes will be especially delicate when they are frozen. It is also possible that there could be slight damage to the buds because of there having been moisture in your buds when you decided to freeze them. If you choose to freeze buds, they must be extremely dry and cured. This will ensure that your buds remain at pretty much the same quality as when they went into the freezer. A lot of Cannabis growers resort to freezing buds because they have so much product and they don’t want to waste any. Freezing is one of the best ways to keep the product long term without affecting the quality very much. If you just want to store your buds for a short amount of time after you harvest your plants, I would just suggest putting them in mason jars and allowing them to cure. Don’t forget to let your containers air out once every single day to allow for the best curing process.
