Chronic pain from tumbling days

I tumbled my entire life and was a college gymnast.

With gymnastics it takes a toll on the body.

My entire body got seriously abused during my times of heavy competing. Now that I am older and only tumble for fun, my injuries have caught up with me. My left knee aches to the point where long car rides are a problem. I also can’t put any weight on it. So squatting and kneeling are out. I also have a hip issue where it gets out of place and hurts. My shoulders are also tense and sore most of the time. My chronic pain got to be so bad that I started asking around for help. Going to the doctor’s was a bust. I tried working out a tumbling and non tumbling way and it only aggravated my pain. I attempted stretching first thing in the morning but I just hurt too bad. A friend of mine recommended trying cannabis for my pain levels. Apparently it can lessen the inflammation in the muscles and loosen everything up. I had never smoked cannabis outside of a party before. I didn’t really believe my friend that it would help. I did go to the dispensary and ask a budtender for help. The worker there was super knowledgeable and got me a good strain of weed to smoke. He told me to smoke once daily and I should be good. I didn’t believe him at first, but now I do. Wow, my pain levels have never been so little! I can get up and stretch right away. I also can work out without any issues.
