Recreational marijuana is still a long way coming.
I love smoking weed, it relaxes me and makes me feel creative. It isn’t addictive, bad for you or as scary as most people like to think. It comes from a plant, it is very natural. Marijuana can treat all sorts of medical issues like PTSD, Alzheimer’s and nausea from cancer. Why is this drug banned in most locations? I want to smoke just because I like the feeling. Now this isn’t exactly above board, but I got a medical marijuana card. I might have fibbed about an anxiety issue in order to get it. What was a big surprise was how easy it was to get a card. I simply went to a doctor’s office known for giving medical marijuana cards. I went to my appointment and talked for five minutes to a doctor. I said I was anxious going to work and needed weed to mellow me out. The doctor then wrote me a script and all was good. A few days later I had a prescription for cannabis flowers and oils. Right that day I hopped over to the local cannabis dispensary and I got legal weed for the first time. Getting weed through an actual dispensary rather than a dealer is super nice. I like knowing I am getting a good quality product at a nice price. I also like that I can travel on vacation with my weed and have a reasonable excuse. Do I really need it for medical reasons? No, but I am glad I have it.
