Worried about letting my son with seizures try cannabis

From the time my son was born he suffered from seizures.

Watching your child go through that is one of the most terrifying things ever.

I have done everything I can to limit the amount of seizures and severity. I had one doctor recommend that I turn to cannabis in order to help my son. I really didn’t want to have my young son already smoking cannabis. Would that affect the development of his body and brain? I was really concerned and hesitant to try it out. The doctor referred me to a medical marijuana office to talk to a professional about it. I could chat with him and if I wanted, get my son a medical marijuana card. The doctor/budtender there was amazing. He walked me through all the different types of cannabis and what it would do for my young son. He also knew current research being done on cannabis and seizures. I think I just needed someone to tell me it was okay to let my boy smoke cannabis and that it would help him. After that appointment, my son got a medical marijuana card and we walked into a dispensary. The cannabis dispensary wasn’t like a head shop. I expected something seedy, dirty and scary. Instead the place was very modern and clean. There were giant glass display cases and shelves with all sorts of products. The budtender was very friendly and great about finding exactly what my son needed. He walked us through the store and took his time to explain what everything will do for my boy. I really appreciated how he handled the situation.
