I have long watched with interest just how the legalization of marijuana has played out. This is tplot as both a proponent of marijuana and as a person in business. I sort of considered the legalization of recreational marijuana as akin to the bag phone in the cellular phone industry. This was the time to absolutely start thinking about what marijuana cultivation would end up turning into. Obviously, I was not thinking that the pot farming question and possibilities would expand as abruptly as they did. And I’m sure not complaining either. I believe in mass cannabis cultivation. I think it’s enjoyable for the tax base, the economy and the consumer. Commercial grow ops are also truly enjoyable for those looking for lucrative investment opportunities. Many will rush to the pot farming and commercial grow room corporations to invest. And that’s all well and good. However, the savvy investor might also consider dealing with entities that are more diversified. There is going to be an explosion of marijuana growing. That means there will be a much increased need for the tools of pot farming. That means that companies who do marijuana grow room design, modular construction and growing facility design are going to be in high demand. Along with those will also come those who supply high performance lighting and grow room ventilation. This industry will be about a lot more than merely pot farming. It’s those that get in on the ground floor of what it takes for marijuana cultivation that will see long term investment growth. It’s an exciting time and marijuana growing is poised to get even more exciting.
