My lady and I went out with a couple of friends on Friday night and I left my Winter jacket resting in the back of her truck.
I was wearing the jacket in the beginning of the evening hours, however I was warm after visiting a ton of clubs and I threw my jacket in the backseat… When I woke up this day and was getting ready for work, I noticed that my jacket was missing. It was merely 26 degrees outside that day and I was due to make deliveries at the medical marijuana shop. I didn’t have nearly enough time to drive over to the campus and wake up my lady so she could get my jacket for me. It would have added an extra hour to my day. I put a t-shirt on as well as a long-sleeved button-up shirt, sweatshirt, and windbreaker. It’s the best I could do without being able to get my winter season jacket. The sun wasn’t shining in the slightest when I got to the workplace and the temperature was still in the upper twenties. I had 6 deliveries waiting when I got to work. I left the store and made my way to the other side of town to start my day route. The sun didn’t start shining until much later. I had a fairly difficult time delivering all of the cannabis products! My hands were shaking and my teeth were chattering uncontrollably. A lot of medical marijuana patients asked me why I wasn’t wearing suitable clothing for the weather. I genuinely was weary of explaining over and over again that I was forgetful and not ready to join the Polar Bear Club. I think it was clear that I didn’t want to shake and shiver that day at work.
