I thought it would be so difficult to figure out how to get a medical marijuana card.
But fortunately, it wasn’t as tough as I had figured it would be.
I was under the impression that it was tough once the medical marijuana laws were changed. That wasn’t the case at all. Once I sort of got my head back on straight after my MS diagnosis, I started researching the medical marijuana benefits for MS. This led me to attend a cannabis dispensary event where I learned more from those who were treating there and asked questions about cannabis products. It was so helpful just to be around people who were managing their MS and they were actually smiling. None of those people pretended MS didn’t have a serious impact on how they lived. But they were also very forthcoming about the help they received from cannabis products. I saw it with my own eyes and I got straight to navigating the cannabis regulations. Like I said, it wasn’t as tough as I thought it was going. My primary doctor was helpful and I was able to get access to the legal weed store in just about 2 months. Results of my treatment with cannabis flower products have been amazing. I’m so much less stiff and don’t feel nearly as much muscle spasm. It’s improved my mindset as well as my perspective is much more positive. I’m finding that cannabis flower products help me manage my MS symptoms in a way that helps me enjoy my life.
