I’m really stoked because I got a job at the local marijuana shop. I’ve been applying for jobs at this marijuana shop for the past year. In fact, I have filled out three odd applications plus sent the manager two odd resumes. My last resume needed to be updated so I sent a brand current resume last week. When I sent the new resume, I immediately got a call from the manager of the marijuana store. Jen asked if I was willing to work part time. I really wanted a full-time position, however I was willing to do whatever I had to in order to get my foot in the door. When the manager Jen mentioned a part-time position, I decided to go to the interview. I really liked Jen plus the two of us got along really well. My buddy and I joked about a couple of things that didn’t have anything to do with the dispensary plus I could tell that my pal and I would be wonderful friends if I got a job toiling at the marijuana shop. Jen hired me at the end of the interview. Jen told me that the current position was part-time, although she was hoping that the woman would eventually become a full-time employee. After this year, Jen was sure that she could provide me full-time hours, but right now the best that Jen could do was 25 hours each week. I end up toiling four afternoons into the night around the marijuana shop. I kept my job at the shirt factory, just in case the full time position doesn’t pan out after the holidays.
