The rules about growing weed are actually very different in sites across the country and the world. I have heard a number of horror stories while traveling from people who know people who were unrightfully incarcerated after accidentally traveling with a tiny bit of weed on their person. I assume everyone has had that gut wrenching feeling when they are about to board a plane where they think “oh no…did I accidentally leave some weed in my bag?” A majority of the time, this is just panic setting in after hearing all the stories of being thrown in jail in a foreign nation. One of the stories I have heard will shock just about any traveling stoner. A neighbor of mine was growing weed in another country inside of Asia. He was aware of the rules of the country he happened to be in, however decided to take the risk regardless. He knew that there was a small chance of being caught. He was going to stay for a period of time in this country from America when he found that finding weed was not as simple as it happened to be at home. He decided to find a task at a local pizzeria so that he could uproot his life in America and stay in the country he was going to see for a certain period of time. In order to supplement his income, he thought it would be best to grow marijuana, regardless of the rules that he had agreed to follow as a visitor in this far away country.
