I know every kid feels they are honestly the coolest person ever. Is that any different from people in the other generations? Probably not, but it seems a lot more pronounced these days. I remember when I was a young kid I thought that older people just were hip. They especially did not get cannabis use, marijuana wasn’t legal back then. Although I thought it wasn’t harmful. I had to get a dealer or grow my own marijuana on the side. Nobody from the older generation understood. Recently, I have realized that more and more people are understanding why we want marijuana now. Marijuana use is becoming legal and cannabis dispensaries are popping up here plus there. More cannabis products are coming in, and you can buy products online or have it shipped to your house. There are pop up cafes with marijuana dishes in them, and finally people are seeing what I saw. I even go to the cannabis dispensary now that I am an adult. I have 2 kids that are in high school. They want to smoke weed but I have told them recently no. Recently they found myself and my wife in the kitchen with a quarter pound of cannabis. So all of us had to have a talk about it, and of course the first thing they called myself and my wife was a hypocrite. I had warned them against smoking marijuana. I said I was not a hypocrite, I was really against young boys using marijuana, just the same as I was against them using alcohol. I think recreational marijuana use is something that should be legalized everywhere. There is plenty of time for smoking when they become legal adults.
