Store sales have increased significantly over the past month & a lot of that is due to the coronavirus.
Folks are stocking up on all kinds of supplies such as tissues, toilet paper, batteries, cold medicine, hand sanitizer, & of course prescription medication, these prescriptions include everything from heart medication and diabetes insulin to medical marijuana! I job in a medical marijuana clinic & all of us have been far busier than ever during the past week.
The people I was with and I had to implement a few updated procedures in order to stay safe during the covid-19 outbreak. For instance, all of us only allow more than six people in the lobby at one time, and at first, some of our clients complained about having to wait outside of our building, unfortunately, all of us need to worry about health & safety before all of us need to stress about our client complaints. The people I was with and I no longer allow visitors to enter the dispensary & browse the selection. The only folks inside of the medical marijuana dispensary are those with a medical marijuana license. The people I was with and I have had a massive increase in corporation & I have been ordering a ton of supplies. Unfortunately, our home company got the order wrong last Monday. They were supposed to give 350 batteries for disposable vape pens. Instead, they sent us 350 disposable vape pens. I had fifty each of mango, orange dream, gelato, gorilla glue, girl scout cookie, & bubba platinum. I had to send all of the items back to the corporation, because it would take us almost 6 more weeks to sell that numerous disposable vape pens, then during a normal week, I usually order ten to fifteen. The company apologize for the mistake & sent the batteries overnight instead of traditional three day fedex.
