The pain got to be too much

If I didn’t want to get the medical marijuana card, he just suggested that I get rid of the prescription

Two years back I was diagnosed with RA. I just had some pain in my feet & the next thing I know, I’m on several different kinds of medicine. Ever since that afternoon, I am hastily feeling worse and worse. I can’t rest most nights, or walk around without the aid of a cane. My hands are starting to twist & I am in exhausting pain. It doesn’t matter how many prescriptions the doctor gives me, I continue to get worse & I am in more pain. The rheumatoid arthritis is wrecking my life & being with family. I went to the rheumatologist a couple weeks back & I refused the medication that they were trying to give me. I had an appointment with our family physician the next day. I told him about the pain & all the pills I was taking. He asked me if I wanted to go a bit less conventional with the care. He told me that I needed to get a medical marijuana card now that it had been legalized. He had talked to many patients who were benefitting from the use of medical marijuana. He said that medical cannabis can help with chronic pain in the body. If I didn’t want to get the medical marijuana card, he just suggested that I get rid of the prescription. I decided I was willing to do anything for relief. I would smoke a joint and be high all day if that is what it took. Thankfully I have been able to use a topical to help with my pain.
