I assumed at some point during our lives that every one of us wants to leave the place where we grew up. My first time passing away from the school was a time when I was ready to transfer to a brand new place. I moved North as soon as I had a job opportunity. I never experienced a winter like the one in the North. My family lived in the South where we didn’t even have a furnace. We had a heat pump to warm the house during the winter and during the summer. The heat pump is actually a very beneficial machine, because it can both heat and cool. Unfortunately, this machine is not great to use during a time of the year when it is below freezing. I had to use a furnace for the very first time. The gas furnace made the indoor air very dry. I dealt with the frigid winter temperatures for two long years and then I genuinely have the chance to scamper back south as hastily as possible. I was happy when my employer had a job opening closer to my hometown. The supplier wanted to open an office there and I ended up being the first person running for the position. I have no complaints about coming back to the place where I grew up and the people I was with in addition to myself are happy to be back in a climate with extremely hot summers and very mild Winters. I would happily trade a furnace for the heat pump and air conditioner nearly any day of the week.
