I frequently stay in hotels because I travel a lot for business.
I don’t have a wife or kids or any pets that keep me tied to one location. I can move about freely from one place to the next. My boss likes that a lot and he frequently takes advantage of my love for travel and new scenery. Last month I got sent all the way across the country to deal with a client that wanted to back out of his investment offer. I was sent to the city to schmooze the guy and make him feel better. I told my boss that I would do my best but I honestly thought it was a job for him and not me. I got to my hotel and met with the client a couple of hours later in the bar of the hotel room. A very odd and strange thing occurred while I was waiting for the client to arrive. A young man approached me and asked me to call a marijuana delivery service to place an order. The kid offered to give me 50 bucks to place an online or telephone order with a marijuana delivery service. The kid had a list of items that he wanted. Something seemed very fishy to me. I asked the kid why he didn’t place the order and he just looked at me. I figured he was probably too young. I didn’t want to get involved with the marijuana delivery service scheme, so I told the kids to find someone else to help with their scam and then I reported the kids to the hotel manager.
