The laws of cannabis

There are laws when it comes to buying weed that not everyone knows about. First, check out if your state is a recreational or medical weed. Medical weed only states are more common. That means you can’t just walk into a dispensary and purchase cannabis. You need a prescription from a doctor, a medical marijuana card and then a specific dispensary that caters to you. If your state offers recreational weed, you only need to be 21 years old. However, most people assume that means they can buy cannabis like beer. They think they can buy all they want and be done with it. Nope, cannabis has limits. You can only buy a certain amount before getting cut off. Don’t even think of dispensary hopping too. They track you through your license. What you are allowed is it. I know my friends also think dispensaries might offer free samples. This isn’t the food court or a lotion store. You can’t sample any products. The only exception is if the cannabis dispensary has a vape lounge. Then the product you bought can be smoked on site. There are also dab bars that operate similarly. That is it however. A close friend of mine recently tried to leave the cannabis dispensary on a bike. You need to lock your cannabis products in a trunk when you leave. You can’t just stuff them in a pocket or in a bike basket. It is against the law. Read up on your state’s rules when it comes to cannabis.
