Friday and Saturday nights are always busy at the downtown dispensary location. I work at the downtown location, because the weekend delivery tips are insane. It’s a 45 minute drive from my house, but the tips make it worthwhile. During the week, I work at the cannabis dispensary location closest to my home. Last month, I was working on Friday and I got a delivery way out by the beach. It was really at the limit of our zone and I was surprised the manager let the address slide. It was a pretty big order with lots of different cannabis supplies, so I figured that’s why she didn’t cancel the order. The customer ordered 8 grams of concentrate, an ounce of blue dream marijuana, and some edibles. The total for the order was over $500. I felt a little nervous leaving the store with such a large order, until I looked up the address in my GPS. The address immediately came up in the google search for a famous retired football player. The name on the ticket matched the name on the house. I honestly don’t watch football or baseball, so I didn’t know anything about the guy. He gave me a really nice tip. When I told my coworkers about the delivery, they nearly went berserk. They wanted to know if I got his autograph and asked me to describe the house. It was the only time in my life that I wishedI knew more about sports, instead of chess and video games. It would have been really cool to get him to autograph the weed bag!
