Traveling out of town required thinking ahead

Not every state in the union allows medical marijuana use, but I live in a state with legal laws.

There are only a handful of states close to my home that have the same laws, but my parents do not live in one of these states.

Everytime my wife na dI travel to that state, we worry about getting into trouble for carrying marijuana across state lines. The laws are a bit fuzzy, and they can throw you into jail if you get the wrong cop or judge. When my wife and I travel across state lines, we try to plan ahead. First, we have to make sure that we have enough marijuana for the time we will be gone from home. If we run out, there will be no places to refill. Running out of medicine is never a good thing. Second, we seal all of our medication into a container that doesn’t have any smell. After that, we vacuum seal that package. We only remove a small amount of marijuana each time we smoke and the rest stays sealed up. If we do get pulled over for a traffic violation, the officer won’t be able to smell weed in the car. We never smoke in the car. If we want to get high during our drive, we pull over to the side of the road or a rest area and get out of the car. Even if we stand next to the vehicle, it still keeps the odor of weed out of our car and that doesn’t give the cops any reason to search our car.
