The delivery driver got stuck on the drive to my place

It was raining really hard last Friday, and I didn’t want to leave the house to run errands. I ordered a bunch of groceries from the Supercenter and I contacted instacart to have someone deliver the groceries to my house. I was out of recreational marijuana supplies as well. I looked online to find the best deals close to my home. I usually go to the dispensary near the airport, but they don’t deliver to my address and I didn’t want to go out. I found a dispensary close to my apartment with great deals on all dried marijuana flower products. Since it was raining and gloomy outside, I decided to purchase a top shelf dried marijuana flower product. The super silver haze sativa strain was $55 for an eight. That’s twice as much money as I would normally spend on marijuana, but the picture of the bud looked too good to pass up. I also purchased 2 grams of cannabis concentrate. The delivery driver left the store around 6 p.m. At half past the hour, I received a telephone call from the delivery driver. He was stuck in the mud about a mile away from my home. He was going to be a while longer, because he had to call a tow truck to get the car out of the mud. Even though I wasn’t particularly happy about waiting longer, I was glad it wasn’t me in a ditch on the side of the road. After all, that’s the entire reason why I didn’t want to go out while it was raining.
