The part time job helps pay my car payment

A few months ago, I started to notice some problems with my car.

It was making a strange sound every time I went faster than 55 mph.

I thought about taking my car to the dealership for a tune-up. I never got a chance. The car broke down about a week after I noticed the first strange sound. I had to figure out a way to fix the car. My mom and dad offered to give me a loan, but it was going to cost a lot of money to fix the old car. It seemed like a better idea to buy something new. My mom and dad loaned me $1,000 to fix the car, but I used it for a down payment on a new car instead. I traded in my old clunker along with the $1,000 so I could get a new Toyota. The new car payments are $300 every month. I had to find a part-time job to help with the car payment as well as the money that I owed my mom and Dad. One of my friends works at a marijuana dispensary. The guy offered to get me a part-time job at night and on the weekends. I had to pass a background check, but I didn’t have to interview with the manager. Since I was friends with one of the employees, I didn’t have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the job. I work on Wednesdays, Friday’s, and Saturdays at night. I get a discount on all of my recreational marijuana supplies. I’ve been working at the dispensary for the past six weeks and I’ve already paid my mom and dad back for the loan.
