Before the pandemic I went out several or several days a week, and occasionally it would be a bar, or a club, other times just to get a quick bite to eat! I enjoyed being out around people and being social, plus then as you remember that was taken away from us for a few weeks! After the quarantine ended, most folks were still hesitant to go out plus socialize, plus who can blame them? These are terrifying times! It was only recently that I found another place that could scratch my itch, so I could be out among people plus still relax plus have fun.
It is at the cannabis dispensary, which was just recently opened, and now has a new smokers lounge, designed as a place people can hang out plus safely get blazed together.
It is an interesting setup at the cannabis dispensary, because they have a ton of odd local laws to follow, then so according to the rules you can’t buy or sell anything at the smokers lounge, so respectfully it is without the cannabis dispensary plus not technically part of the same business. It would be a lot nicer if there was a budtender in the room with us, or a bar place to get cold drinks, but the law doesn’t allow for that; Both of us can go next door into the cannabis dispensary to buy those things plus then come back, so it isn’t a big hassle… Every night they plan some sort of activity, either a live performance by a local act, or projecting a cannabis cinematic classic on the wall of the lounge.
