Every other month, the movie theater downtown has a special movie showing and they allow people to use cannabis inside of the theater.

It’s a pretty cool cannabis event and there aren’t that many events like this in the city. My girlfriend and I went to the movies last Saturday. The theater wasn’t showing an old stoner favorite called Dazed and Confused. I’ve seen the movie a hundred different times, but it was still a really cool experience to see it in the theater with a bunch of other stoners that enjoy the flick just as much as me. My girlfriend and I ate some snacks while we were in the theater. We had buffalo wings and a plate of cheese fries. We also had a couple of mixed drinks from the bar. The entire movie theater smelled like a giant cannabis joint. When we left the movie theater at the end of the night, my girlfriend and I both smelled like a giant walking cannabis advertisement. My clothes smelled like weed until I took them to the laundromat a few days later. I used a scented detergent to get rid of the Cannabis smell and I also used some fabric softener. When the clothes came out of the washer and the dryer, the smell of weed was completely gone. Thank goodness for that, because I was wearing my favorite sweatshirt. I wouldn’t want to walk around everywhere smelling like a giant marijuana joint.
