My buddy Jack and I try to win tickets to The Rock and Roll concert for 2 weeks.
- Every day at 5:00 p.m., the radio station had a contest and they gave away a pair of tickets that were not in the front row, but pretty darn close.
The contest was to be the 95th caller and it took a lot of calls to get through. I was honestly starting to lose all of my faith when Jack called me at work to tell me that there was a special contest earlier that day and he won the tickets. Instead of the contest being a call in, it was a trivia contest. The radio station played snippets from three different rock and roll songs and the first person to call with the correct answer to name all three of the songs turned out to be the winner of two of those concert tickets. My buddy was the first person to correctly guess the three songs by Metallica, Anthrax, and Ac/dc. The show was a couple of days ago and it was a huge event with people everywhere. There were people in the parking lot tailgating like it was a football game. They didn’t even have tickets to see the rock and roll show, but they were happy to hang out in the parking lot with all of the other groupies. Jack and I smoked some recreational marijuana with one of those people. The guy was playing loud rock and roll music and we could smell marijuana coming from the tent. We headed over to talk to that guy and he immediately offered us recreational marijuana to smoke.
